2DWM-2 – The steady exodus of personnel from Two Brothers Mining continued yesterday, as the departure of a long standing and high ranking member signalled yet another slow news day in the New Eden star cluster.

This week saw Cyrus “Tricky77” O’Narah, TBMC’s Director of Previously Operational Structures and Lead Instructor of Sleeping at the Helm of Iteron Transports, join the long list of inactive and former employees who have fled the corporation in recent months, allegedly in the hopes of finding a home far, far away from the desperate, longing gazes and quick hands of Director of Human Resources and newly appointed co-co-co-co-co-co-co-co-cocoa-CEO Kazashini Igropeya.

OKOTULIN - Police were called to a small residence in the city of Mesmer early this morning after a neighbor reported what they believed to be a violent domestic dispute between occupants, according to Lt. Hugh Arugh with the Okotulin Planetary Police Force. Upon arriving at the apartment, however, the police officers discovered that the occupant was alone.

"The responding officers radioed back that the reporter was mistaken," said Lt. Arugh, "but failed to return to their patrol."

JITA – The claws of industry have reached in every direction, but for far too long the planets have escaped their grasp.  Now, thanks to over a century of intense research and development by some of the brightest scientist and engineers in the cluster, the technology allowing industrial tycoons to lift stuff has arrived.

“This is a momentous accomplishment,” says Dr. Palinkazs Dömötör, the lead researcher on Dömötör Industries’ Great Dömötör Insertion and Removal of Terrain project.  “We now have, for the first time ever, the ability to break up, turn over, or remove materials from objects larger than moons.”

“Now all we need is a technology that allows us to successfully mine null-sec veldspar asteroids.”

Emperor Raphael Speaks

SANCTUM - Sanctum, a pearl in the crown of The Black Order - a galaxy spanning corporation devoted to keeping order and peace. Called an Empire of Oppression by its critics and rivals, the Order has defended itself by repeatedly insisting that its laws are fair and balanced to all its citizens. Several prominent lawmakers, when questioned, reluctantly agreed that the Order's laws are well written, if a bit too general in some cases. In order to get a better grasp of the ideals of the Order, I met with Emperor Raphael Xantes who took over leadership of the Order after its founder, his father Legion Xantes, passed away from a terrible disease.
